I suppose you could say that writing is my forte. I can create articles in any style you like from authoritative features to professional reports and blog-style news. In fact I am currently writing a blog on London’s historic pubs.
My last office-based position was as chief sub-editor and staff writer for Travel Trade Gazette. As a freelance travel journalist I have worked on in-flight titles for airlines including British Airways, Easyjet, Monarch and FlyBe. I have written scores of destination articles plus “colour” pieces on international idioms; Europe’s drinking culture; toilets across Europe; and the worst people to sit next to on an aircraft.
I have also freelanced for other travel magazines including Travel Agency, Wish You Were Here and Business Travel World, covering destinations including Germany, St Lucia, Iceland, the Florida Keys, Tasmania, Kenya and the Netherlands.
During my freelance career I have worked for women’s magazines such as The Lady, Essentials and Prima plus parents’ magazines Parents, Mother and Baby, Pregnancy & Birth and Baby.
